Project Description: Construction of Compaction and Conveyance systems for the Anacostia WWPS screenings,
including: removal of existing grinders: installation of reciprocating-ram style compactors, associated piping and fittings,
belt conveyers, canister handing system, and spray water and lubricating systems; replacement of six existing sump pumps and
Motor control Center; installation of 15kV breaker and new remote monitoring system and its integration into process control;
and all required modifications to the supporting mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and structural systems of the facility
in order to incorporate the operation of the new systems. |
