Final Clarifier at Little Patuxent WRP
Project Description:
American Contracting is
performing Bid Packages 10 & 11 on the Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant ENR Improvements as a subcontractor to
Clark/US LLC. Our work on this project will include the following:
Demolition and replacement of clarifier equipment in existing Final Clarifiers 2-5
Concrete construction of effluent
launders in existing Final Clarifiers 2-5
Replacements & upgrades to clarifier equipment in existing Final Clarifiers
6-12
Installation of clarifier equipment in new Final Clarifier 13
Installation
of scum pumps and piping in Final Clarifiers 2-5 & 13
Replacement
of existing bar screens 1-3 in Screenings Facility
Replacement of existing
belt conveyor system in Screening Facility
Replacement of existing screening washing and dewatring units
This work is part of a $90 million expansion and upgrade to the entire plant.
