In an effort to boost capacity due to population growth, Howard county is expanding their water and wastewater treatment
capabilities. At Little Patuxent, American Contracting is upgrading the facilities' final clarifiers and bar screens. The
scope includes:
Complete mechanical overhaul of four final clarifiers
New mechanical construction of one
final clarifier
Selected mechanical overhaul of seven final clarifiers
Complete demolition and replacement
of three bar screens
Demolition and replacement of the screenings conveyor
