Current Projects ARE Ultraviolet Disinfection

The following is a general description of the project:

• Existing lamp banks for six channels
• Existing flap gates for six channels
• Concrete ramps for each of the flap gates in six channels
• Sump pumps
• Existing concrete cleaning basin
• Existing concrete curb for the UV lamp wash down pad
• Miscellaneous concrete removal for new equipment installation
• Existing electrical transformers, power distribution centers, and conductors for the existing UV disinfection system
• Existing electrical panels in the electrical room
• Miscellaneous lights and ancillary electrical equipment in the mezzanine area 
• Control room flooring, cabinetry, ceiling tiles, and lighting as noted on the drawings
• Trojan UV 3000 PLUS UV disinfection equipment for six channels
• New UV transmittance sensor as shown on the Drawings
• New UV intensity sensors for each bank of UV modules
• New ultrasonic level sensors as shown on the Drawings
• New low level probes as shown on the Drawings
• Six motorized weir gates for six channels
• New stop logs and channels as shown on the Drawings
• Two motorized actuators for post aeration basins
• Six new motorized actuators for UV influent channel gates
• Concrete channel modifications to accommodate the new UV disinfection system
• Painting of the process area, control room, and the electrical room
• Installation of new floor and ceiling tiles in the control room. New lights in the control room and in the mezzanine of the process area of building
• Supporting electrical and mechanical equipment
