The following is a general description of the project:
Demolition of Building J, relocation of critical administration and laboratory functions from Building J to Buildings G/1 and G/2, and improvements to existing infrastructure and facilities. Work includes, but is not limited to provision of a new chilled water plant, one new laboratory (approximately 5,000 square feet (sf)), new locker rooms (approximately 3,250 square feet), new fiber optic room, new server and
electrical rooms, new roof, new training and control rooms, and demolition of the Building J
superstructure (two-story, 42,000 square-foot brick building with a basement that was constructed in 2000).
