The following is a general description of the project:
The work to be performed under these Contract Documents consists of an upgrade to the Leachate Treatment System (LTS) at Hernwood Sanitary Landfill (HSL) located in Baltimore County, Maryland. This Specification Section provides a general description of the scope of work. The Contractor shall refer to the appropriate detailed specification section for additional information. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Furnish and install erosion control, Lagoon demolition, resurface gravel access road, electrical work, relocate generator, demolition, dewater and dredge existing lagoon , upgrades to existing lagoon, process housing demolition, construction of a proposed process building, and yard piping .
