The following is a general description of the project:
This project consists of the excavation and construction of concrete EQ basins and a pumping station. Installation and testing of required equipment to collect and control filter backwash water and the piping system to discharge it directly to the DC combined sewer system or to direct it into the EQ basin. Part of the work must be performed withing time-constrained limited outage windows. Specific work items include supply and installation of large pipes including valves and fittings, a chemical addition unit, two EQ basins, submersible pumps, electrical switchgear and associated equipment, pipes, flow meter and flow control valves, etc.
