The following is a general description of the project:
The project consists of constructing a new Old Stage Road Booster Pump Station on vacant property in order to extend water supply from the Town of Smithfield to Hardy Elementary School. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, building construction, installation of process piping, pumping equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation systems, control systems, and associated trade work. The contractor shall provide all labor, superintendence, material, tools, equipment, and other ancillary items necessary to complete this project. This project follows two previous phases of water main extension required to provide water to a new County elevated water storage tank currently under construction at Hardy Elementary School.
