What to Expect

We work to develop client relationships within the confines of the competitive bidding process typically used in the public space. It starts with a fundamental commitment to honesty and integrity. There are also many specific steps we take on our projects that differentiate us from our competitors. These are just a few of the measures we take to provide great service to our clients.

Strong Commitment to Preconstruction

Our preconstruction department sets our projects up for success by getting all of the front end purchasing, planning, and documentation done prior to the Notice To Proceed date. This allows our project team to hit the ground running on Day 1, which in turn leads to early project completion.

Onsite Engineering Staff

We employ trained engineers on our projects as Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers. They work in construction trailers at the project site so they have first-hand knowledge of the construction progress and existing conditions. We deliver highly-competent service in executing all of the technical requirements of the project. Our engineers perform detailed submittal reviews, identify and solve problems through the RFI process, and diligently manage all contract documents. These efforts lead to a smoother and more efficient construction process.

Innovative Cost-Saving Ideas

Our experience and technical background enable us to identify value engineering opportunities which can save our Clients time and money. Our field supervisors identify constructability issues in the field and develop alternate, cost-effective solutions that provide the same finished products. Our engineers possess deep industry knowledge and will identify alternate products that meet the design intent. These savings are shared with the Clients to keep project costs down.

Project Coordination through Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Our project engineers utilize BIM to coordinate the work with existing conditions, as well as the new construction. We develop 3D models of the proposed construction early in the process which enables us to identify and solve issues well before they become time critical. By doing this, we minimize the cost and time impact of conflicts whether they be design issues or unforeseen site conditions.

Collaboration with the Client & Engineer

Our project teams work cooperatively with the Client and Design Engineer to identify and resolve issues. We proactively identify conflicts through the BIM process and work with the Engineer to come up with solutions with the lowest possible cost and time impacts. We set up submittal review workshops to expedite critical submittal reviews so as not to impact the schedule. The end result of these efforts is a positive working environment with the Client and Engineer.

Informative Daily Reports

Our field staff produces the best daily reports in the business. Each day, we issue a daily report documenting the construction activities, resources and issues. This is sent to the entire project team including the Client, Engineer, Construction Manager, and Inspector. Each report includes several pictures of the work which clearly demonstrates the daily progress on the project.
