The work under this Contract includes:
- Contingent Generator Repairs.
- Demolition and removal of select control systems in the existing Venturi Vault. Demolition and replacement of the valve electric actuators in Valve Vault C and Valve Vault No. 1.
- Demolition of Pump Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 as well as associated motors.
- Demolition of Diesel Pump No. 6 including motor and associated fuel storage tank.
- Demolition of existing pump seal water system and pump vacuum prime pumping system.
- Inspection and cleaning of existing trench drains and all existing vacuum prime piping to remain.
- Select demolition of pump discharge piping.
- Demolition of the existing wastewater screening systems.
- Demolition of existing HVAC system components.
- Miscellaneous structural and architectural demolition with the Eastern Avenue Pumping Station structure.
- Miscellaneous electrical, lighting and controls systems demolition including demolition of the existing pump reduced voltage autotransformer (RVAT) pump starters.
- Demolition of existing architectural, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems in the Public Works Museum. Improvements to the existing HVAC and electrical systems.
- Furnish and install new wastewater screenings removal equipment.
- Furnish and install new Pump Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and associated motors, seal water pump system, vacuum prime pump system and appurtenances in the Pump Room.
- Furnish and install new discharge piping, check valves, and flow meters on the discharge of new Pump Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
- Furnish and install new electrical, lighting and instrumentation systems including variable frequency drives (VFDs) for Pump Nos. 1 through 5, discharge flow meters and miscellaneous electrical system improvements.
- Furnish and install new HVAC and plumbing system equipment.
- Complete miscellaneous architectural and structural improvements.
- Complete miscellaneous floodproofing measures.
- Repair drywell leak below locker room.
- Structural, electrical, instrumentation, etc. improvements required to fully integrate, install, and accommodate the work described above.
