What does working at ACE mean to you
Working at ACE means being part of something that truly matters. Every day, I get to contribute to the water infrastructure that communities depend on, even if most people never think twice about where their water comes from or where it goes. That invisible importance is exactly what drives me.
It means being a problem solver. No two projects are the same, and finding solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper, is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. It means always learning, whether that's from a vendor who knows their equipment inside and out, a subcontractor with decades of field experience, or a coworker who approaches a challenge differently than I would. Every interaction is an opportunity to grow.
What is your favorite ACE sponsored activity? Why? (Summer picnic, kickball teams, community service projects, holiday parties, etc.)
I'd choose any sport event, like kickball, as my favorite ACE-sponsored activity without hesitation. I've been an athlete my whole life and find real happiness in competition. Pairing that with fun teammates who also happen to be my coworkers builds something that can only be described as a family bond. Our recent kickball tournament was one of the best things we've done together as a company. It gave everyone, myself included, the chance to connect with people from different departments in a relaxed, informal setting where we were all chasing the same goal: bringing home the championship!
