The following is a general description of the project:
Removal of existing Filtration Influent Pumps 1 to 10, discharge valves, motors, and eddy current
drives and replacement with ten (10) new pumps, discharge valves, motors, and four (4) VFDs.
• Installation of FRP baffle/curtain wall and vortex suppression baskets in Pumps 1-10 wetwells.
• Replacement of existing low voltage MCCs in Control Tower.
• Replacement of lighting panels and panelboards throughout the FADF.
• Replacement of Bearing Water Control Panels.
• Replacement of control panels in the Control Tower and rerouting of instrumentation signals.
• Demolition of two (2) sewage ejector systems and piping in the FADF and installation of one (1)
new conveyance system and piping.
• Miscellaneous facility improvements including, but not limited to, replacement of pump bay
skylights, light fixtures, pump access grating, control tower access flooring, wire and conduit for
selected equipment, bearing water header, and unit heaters.
