The following is a general description of the project:
1. Provide the following for each of the six primary effluent pump (PEPs):
- Inspection and repairs of existing pump casing.
- Installation of flow straightener at the pump suction piping.
- Installation of new pump POA.
- Replacement of pump seal water system and instrumentation.
- Field testing (pre-construction and post-construction vibration test, performance test).
2. Filter Backwash Return Bypass:
- Provide the following:
- New piping and valves to connect the existing backwash piping to concrete riser boxes.
- Electrical and instrumentation and control (I&C) connections for the automated valves.
3. Electrical Room 3:
- Provide the following:
- New cooling system:
- A single computer room air-conditioning unit and pump package.
- Ductwork and electrical/1&C connections to operate the air-conditioning unit.
- Roof mounted condensing unit/system.
- Modifications to existing cooling system.
- New cooling system:
